Potion Promotion
You’ve inherited your uncle’s potion shop shortly after he has gone missing. It’s your first day on the job- but that hasn’t stopped the potion-hungry customers from procuring their precious potions. You have choices to make. Will you choose the potions that support the people’s wishes or support the king’s desires?

The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics. Potion Promotion is a cute, short visual novel about your first days running a potion shop. Your uncle’s disappearance under mysterious circumstances doesn’t slow the flow of customers through your door, though.
Potion Promotion is easy to master with point-and-click controls to advance the dialogue. The formula for helping customers is the same for everyone. You listen to their story, hear the king’s wishes and then choose whether to side with the customer or the king.
Why Should I Play?
Why should you play Potion Promotion? The soft, whimsical artwork and cozy vibes drew me into the game, but I stayed for the surprisingly fleshed-out townspeople. The humor was dry in some places and over the top in others. I never knew what to expect from new customers, which makes for a varied and interesting read.

A full run can be completed in about half an hour if you want to read through all the endings, so it is the perfect experience to fit between longer campaigns. You can play Potion Promotion for free in your browser on Itch.io.
