Pitter patter! LETTERKENNY Season 9 Gets a Release Date

Still of Letterkenny cast

That’s a Texas-sized 10-4, good buddies. Hulu dropped the release date for Canadian comedy Letterkenny on Wednesday, TVLine confirms. Season Nine is arriving sooner than you think!

All seven episodes will be available to stream when Season Nine is unveiled. According to TVLine, we’re going to see a different side of Katy (Michelle Mylett) after what she went through in Season Eight. Her old beau Dierks (Tyler Hynes) cheated on her, which is unforgivable. Thus, Wayne (Jared Keeso), Squirrelly Dan (K. Trevor Wilson), Daryl (Nathan Dales), the Hockey Players, the Skids and more laid the smackdown on Dierks. Now, Katy has employed a “scorched earth” policy when it comes to dating. Additionally, Gail (Lisa Codrington) a.k.a. Old Gailer is “getting some action of her own.” A competing restaurant opens in Letterkenny. Tanis (Tiio Horn) curates an energy drink. The Hockey Players learn about Judaism, which I’m sure will be interesting to watch unfold.

But that’s not all! TVLine also noted that “the whole town gets really into sleepover activities like movies, board games and girl talk.” This makes me giddy. I’m picturing Wayne and the Hicks hosting sleepovers in the vein of Daryl’s Super Soft Birthday Party, and it gives me immense joy.

Letterkenny was created by Keeso and Jacob Tierney. Both Keeso and Tierney have directed and written their fair share of the series. Tierney also acts on the show as eclectic preacher Glen. Letterkenny has been a staple of Hulu original programming since Season Seven.

Overall, I’m incredibly stoked for more Letterkenny. 2020 is a dumpster fire and the only way to extinguish the flames is more content with our favorite Hicks, Skids and Hockey Players. Pitter patter, let’s get at’er.

Letterkenny Season Nine will debut on December 26, only on Hulu.
