Last chance…
Look out, here comes the Spider-Man
Okay.
The trailer begins with Peter Parker and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) deal with the loss of their friend Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). This is so sad! They both know that Tony sacrificed himself to save humanity. That puts some pressure on Peter to make sure he honors Tony. But life goes on and Peter goes on vacation with his friends, despite several calls from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).
Fury tracks down Spider-Man for a special mission that none of the other Avengers are available for…how convenient. But Spider-Man has been to space and survived a major apocalyptic snap, so he should be okay. Spidey meets Mr. Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), a hero from another Earth. Fury says the snap opened up a hole in our dimension. What!? We officially have a MCU Multiverse ya’ll!!
The next big surprise is that MJ (Zendaya) knows that Peter is Spider-Man. How did she figure that out? Anyway, Peter is torn between being the hero or living his life. He’s not confident that he can save the world and appears to be letting Mr. Beck fill that void that Iron Man left behind. Of course, no one can replace Iron Man.
Spider-Man: Far From Home also stars Cobie Smulders, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon. Watch the trailer below.
Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 2!
