Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3
Mortals and demigods alike — lend me your ears. Although Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 is still many months away, we can rejoice and sit easy as Disney+ has renewed the series for a third season already.
Multiple factors probably influenced the network to greenlight the next season so early. First and foremost, there’s a huge appetite for the series. The first season landed in the top five original streaming series the week it premiered in December 2023.

Then, there’s the fact the young cast will age faster than their characters will season after season if production doesn’t roll out in a timely manner. With author Rick Riordan invested in telling the story of each book in the five-volume series in a standalone season, they have to keep up the pace.
The production films are primarily in Vancouver, BC, Canada. For the outdoor scenes to play like it’s summertime at Camp Half-Blood, production needs to be ready to go when the nice weather hits. A greenlight now means pre-production can have things ready to go.
The Awesome to Come Is Titanic
As the Disney+ series has been so faithful to the source literature, spoilers are hard to avoid. Still, without giving too much away, The Titan’s Curse is probably my favorite book in the original Percy Jackson series.

In The Titan’s Curse, we meet the goddess Artemis and her Hunters, of which Zoë Nightshade becomes a key quest member. There are two new Camp Half-Blood members, siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, who prove both incredibly brave and potentially dangerous. The casting for the new roles will be epic.
And the monsters! The VFX department is going to blow your minds with manticores, pegasus, spartoi and an Ophiotaurus. Seriously.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 will debut in December 2025. Until then, Season 1 is available to stream on Disney+.
