Are you scared of clowns? You will be. The second trailer for Stephen King’s It is here.  This isn’t like the ABC miniseries of 1990.  Word of advice…don’t watch the trailer before you go to bed!

For anyone who hasn’t seen the 1990 movie or read the book, It is about seven kids in Derry, Maine who believe a evil entity is responsible for the string of missing children. When one of the kid’s brother goes missing, the Losers’ Club must face their fear and face the monster, Pennywise, the Clown.

In the the book, the story follows two timelines of the Losers’ Club as kids and adults.  This movie follows the story when they are children and discover Pennywise.  There are plans for a sequel to tell the story of the Losers’ Club as adults.

Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jack Dylan Grazer in Stephen King’s It

It stars Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (Hawaii Five-O), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween), Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic) and Jackson Robert Scott, making his film debut.  And of course, Peter Skarsgard (Hemlock Grove) as the psychotic Pennywise the Clown.

Skarsgard has some big shoes to fill and so far, he looks like he’s pretty comfortable in the clown suit.  His predecessor Tim Curry pretty much set the standard for scary clowns.  If you look closely, you will see glimpse of Curry’s clown in the new trailer.

RELATED: HERE IS THE OFFICIAL TEASER TRAILER FOR IT

Set in 1989, the trailer features glimpses of the kids, their town, missing children posters, and the event that started their nightmare.  Georgie Denbrough (Scott) chases a paper boat to a sewage drain where someone is waiting for him. This the first time we hear Pennywise  speak. “Here,” It whispers. “Take it.” It giggles as Georgie disappears.

Bill Denbrough (Lieberher) follows a pair of muddy footprints to his kitchen.  He sees Georgie in the kitchen.  Georgie tells Bill to go with him and “You’ll float too.”

One of the kids says the town is cursed by something evil.  A lot of awful things have happened. Bill and his friends all admit they’ve all seen the clown.

The Losers’ Club make a pact to find Pennywise and destroy him.  That’s when things get crazy! The best part of the trailer is the room full of clowns! HAHAHAHA! I Love It!
