Penny Dreadful premieres this Sunday, May 3rd on Showtime (originally supposed to be April 26th). The marketing folks have been doing a great job releasing trailers, teasers and clips (Oh my!). My favorite this season however, was the creepy Madam Kali trailer that was released back in January. It still gives me goosebumps and if you haven’t seen it, click here to watch Madame Kali in all her beautiful wrongness!
Above is the new trailer for season 2 and below are two clips from the first episode. The clips are great. The first has Madam Kali (Helen McCrory tormenting Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) from afar in a snowy daydream of a scene. The second has Ethan trying to tell Vanessa that she’s not the only one battling internal dark forces.
Interestingly, on Penny Dreadful’s official Youtube channel, you can watch the entire first episode of season 2. I’m going to wait until Sunday so I can watch with all the bells and whistles of my t.v.
