The U.S. trailer for season five of Peaky Blinders is here and it is intense and full of perfect Shelby one-liners. U.S. audiences have been waiting with bated breath for the new season which is already airing in the UK. Enter Netflix, which will release the series in the US once the season is over across the pond. This actually will make American viewers happy as they will have the benefit of binge-watching the show if they please.
Created by Steven Knight, the series follows anti-hero and notorious gang-leader Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his family in post WW1 Birmingham, England. Over the last four seasons Tommy Shelby has become a legitimate business man and MP. Peaky Blinders season five finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929. When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by a charismatic politician (Sam Claflin) with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will impact not only the future of his family but that of the entire nation.

In addition to Murphy, the show stars Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle and Finn Cole. The show hits Netflix on October 4th.
