Everyone’s favorite period gangland show is coming back for a fifth season.  Deadline reported Friday that Peaky Blinders has completed its 50th day of shooting on the new season.  There is new info on brand new cast members and a first-look photo of Sam Claflin’s character in the next chapter for the Shelby family.

You might remember that Season 4 left us with a big election win.  Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) has more power and responsibility than ever before.  Season 5 picks up with the Shelby’s as the crash of 1929 hits, and the world is thrown into depression.  “Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere. When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by Claflin’s charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will affect not just his family’s future but that of the entire nation.”

Peaky Blinders season 5 is set to air on BBC One in 2019.  Outside of the UK you can find Peaky Blinders on Netflix.  Watch the first four seasons now!
