Out of Marvel, we’ve got one more Ant-Man trailer to add to the tally — this one is labeled Ant-Man Trailer #20. Now, hopefully, they don’t really give us anymore, though this round of promotion has been much better than what they did with Age of Ultron, which just kept showing us more and more. It was way too much.

This trailer is one of the best, as it seems to nail the humor and the action all in the same breath, which is exactly what the first couple theatrical trailers were missing.

We also get the revelation that the bad guys Scott Lang run up against, “… are in the business of toppling governments.” This leads us to wonder if we’re digging into an organization like AIM or more Hydra stuff.

What this trailer also does is give us the sense that this movie is a lot of fun with a hero that ends up enjoying what he’s doing. He embraces the ridiculous power of “controlling ants” and has fun with it, riding an ant eliciting a “woo-hoo” and then seeing him run on a blade of grass to jump onto an ant.

Finally, we have that bit at the end with one of Lang’s con-man associates asking, “are we the good guys? It feels kinda weird.”

What seemed to start as passing interest and curiosity has turned into full blown, “Must-see.” Well done Marvel promotions.
