Paramount+ unveiled this year’s holiday collection with its “’Tis The Season For Streaming” announcement. The streaming giant’s offerings were made available today. Hundreds of new seasonal movies and specials are now ready to watch including the debut of Paramount+’s first original holiday film Dear Santa.
The holiday-themed Dear Santa hails from Peter and Bobby Farrelly (The Farrelly Brothers) and stars Jack Black, Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur and Post Malone. The story follows a young boy who mails his Christmas wish list to Santa with one crucial spelling error, resulting in a devilish Jack Black’s arrival to wreak havoc on the holidays. The film premieres on Monday, November 25.
The special to look out for is SpongeBob SquarePants “SpongeBob and Sandy’s Country Christmas.” It’s an all-new half-hour special where one of Sandy’s experiments goes awry and the Cheeks family must team up to save Christmas in Bikini Bottom. The special features stop-motion animation and will premiere on Nickelodeon and stream exclusively on Paramount+ on December 2.
