Hold on to your dookie, because it’s about to get spooky. Halloween is just around the corner. But before you head out trick-or-treating, you may want to relax with some seasonal and horror-based streaming content. Enter Paramount+’s “Peak Screaming” lineup. Scroll down to see the full lineup… if you dare!
The Peak Screaming lineup is a curated collection that gathers spooky streaming options from the big and small screen alike. These are divided into a plethora of categories that include Big Screen’s Big Screams, Slash Hits, Horror Heroines, Flash Frights, Horror Comedies and Halloween Nickstalgia.
Peak Screaming
One of the featured titles in the Halloween Nickstalgia category might be one of the most infamous Nicktoons ever to invade your TV screen. I’m speaking, of course, of Invader ZIM‘s unforgettable seasonal special, “Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom.”
In this episode, Dib Membrane (Andy Berman) experiments with interdimensional tech in search of costume ideas. But the plan goes awry and he finds himself slung between his home dimension and one so horrifying, Nickelodeon is probably still getting angry letters from careless parents. Keep an eye out for a cameo from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac!

Perhaps you’re interested in costume inspiration that doesn’t involve getting stuck in a monster-filled hell dimension? The Costume Inspiration section has you covered. Included here is Pulp Fiction, Clueless, and this author’s beloved Star Trek: Lower Decks. Please, send Geek Girl Authority your Cali class costumes!
Or maybe you’re more interested in some outright big-screen horror? Don’t sleep on Jennifer’s Body. In this near-perfect tale of demonic possession and revenge, Jennifer (Megan Fox) becomes possessed, and it’s up to her beta best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) to pick up the increasingly gory pieces. That’s not to mention several Stephen King titles, including Doctor Sleep (the excellent sequel to The Shining) and Pet Semetary: Bloodlines (which has a killer cast).

Included below are the titles in the Peak Screaming lineup (with the promise of more that aren’t listed). But beware: they come with this official caveat: “A selection of the above titles may only be available in September or October. All title/window availability are subject to change.” Which one of these spooky selections are you starting in on first?
