Out There – Omega Edition

Out There is a sci-fi roguelike adventure game released in 2014 by Mi-Clos Studio and StoreRider. It is the 22nd century, and Earth has been depleted of all of its resources. To try to save humanity, brave astronauts like yourself venture into the dark corners of space to find life-saving supplies. However, during a long journey to a faraway planet, you wake up during cryonics in an unknown location.

Gather supplies drifting through the void and tinker with your ship to make it to the next refill planet. Try out 10 spaceships, each with different specs to explore. To get yourself to safety, master a crafting system featuring 20 alien technologies and 15 different materials.

Each new game offers a new procedurally generated galaxy to explore, including alien lifeforms. To add even more replay value, the epic main storyline has four different endings. Space is volatile, but Out There has no combat because it’s just you against the environment. Additionally, this dark sci-fi adventure features pulp comic graphics and atmospheric music by award-winning composer Siddhartha Barnhoorn (The Stanley ParableAntichamber).

Out There – Omega Edition is free in the Mobile Epic Games Store until April 3 at 10 am ET.

Evoland II

Evoland II is a single-player role-playing game released for mobile devices in 2018 by Playdigious and Shiro Games. This game is an epic time-traveling adventure filled with classic video game references. Play as Kuro and use powerful relics to travel through four different time periods, including the present day, a past war, a dystopian future and an ancient civilization.

Additionally, each time period is stylized in different video game graphics from 8-bit to 3D. The game also shifts genres, going from side scroller platformer to match-three puzzler to fighting game and more. Help Kuro restore his lost memory before it is too late to save himself and humanity.
