Our Walk Home
Kicking off our list this week is Furanc0’s Our Walk Home. The romance series follows Akihiko Shiraishi, a perfect student, athlete and all-around person. Except he isn’t. Inside, he is an awkward mess and barely gets by. Things only get worse when he is forced to compete with Harumi Kurose, a prodigy colder than ice. But what if he isn’t? Could this rivalry become something more beautiful?
Sometimes, the world is really stressful, and finding something to fall in love with is an absolute must. Our Walk Home is one of those series. It’s a sweet romance that slowly grows through the chapters and leaves you with a wholesomely happy feeling. But it isn’t all romance and rainbows; the series also features a bit of drama, coming of age and comedy to help round it out. It’s an excellent read for romance lovers and those looking for serotonin.

K.O!
Our second series, Sable Studio’s K.O!, stays in the romance realm. Joel Mora is seen as a problematic high school student. He is rough around the edges, gets into fights constantly and is an all-around loner. But what happens when a shy girl decides it is her mission to break through the rough exterior and uncover what’s inside? Will Joel let her in? Or will he do everything necessary to keep the world at a distance?
If you are looking for romance but want a bit more drama and fun, then K.O! is right up your alley. It follows the trope of the big, rough, misunderstood guy falling in love with the soft-spoken, shy girl. It’s sweet in the best way but also pulls in drama, action and comedy. This is a high school romance story, so it sticks to the sweet side of romance. We loved the series’ characters and can’t wait to see where things will go next.
