If I hadn’t made it clear to you, I love Webtoon comics. I love the way creators are able to visually bring a story to life through their art and convey emotions through everything from their character’s expressions to the color palette used within a scene. What’s even better is that Webtoons has a large community just ready to shower their favorite creators with love. Now, if just reading your favorite stories isn’t enough, I highly suggest checking out these three Webtoon podcasts where they recap, theory craft and just gush over our favorite stories!
The Webtoon Room Podcast
We are kicking this list off with The Webtoon Room Podcast from Will and Kruti. They are two friends who love to talk all about Webtoons! Their content covers recaps, reviews and even a bit of theory crafting. They talk about various stories, including Curse Princess Club, Purple Hyacinth, Let’s Play and many more. So there is a big chance they will have discussed something you are currently reading or have read in the past. This podcast is a cozy listening experience that gives another view of our favorite Webtoons!
Girl Wonder Webtoon Podcast
Jo, the host of Girl Wonder Webtoon Podcast, loves Webtoons and loves to share them with her listeners. Each week she dives deep into a different Webtoon to either recap, review, or just shares a ton of love for our favorite creators. This Webtoon podcast covers a variety of series, including Age Matters, Midnight Poppy Land, Siren’s Lament and so many more. One of my favorite parts of this podcast is when Jo brings in the voices of her patreons to discuss their opinions about a series or episode. Recently she did a bonus episode where she compiled loving voice messages for Junepurrr (the creator of SubZero)!
My Webtoon Journey Podcast
If you are new to the world of Webtoon, it can be a bit overwhelming. There are so many stories to choose from and you might not know where to start. The My Webtoon Journey Podcast is exactly where you want to start! The host, John, is brand new to Webtoons, too, and understands exactly how stressful it can be. Each episode focuses on a single story where he shares his impressions on them and whether he thinks you should add them to your list. So far, he has covered nine, including The Witch and the Bull, Omniscient Reader and Unholy Blood. This podcast is a great way to find new series to add to your list!
My Webtoon Journey Podcast updates bi-weekly and can be found on Spotify Anchor.
