I knew she would be back, there’s no way such a popular character would actually be killed off, especially by the delightfully evil, Missy. In a world centered around a time traveling Time Lord, anything is possible.
Steven Moffat confirmed that Ingrid Oliver will be returning to season 9 of Doctor Who as Osgood, the biggest Whovian of all.
“As every actor who’s worked on Doctor Who will tell you, there’s always the secret hope you’ll get the call asking you to come back. To actually receive that call is both unexpected and brilliant. The word ‘honour’ gets banded about a lot, but it really is, it’s an honour. Especially because I was so sure Osgood was a gonner after the last series!”Ingrid Oliver, BBC.
You’ll get to see Osgood square off with the…Zygons, in a two-part episode currently being filmed.
