One Piece Season 2
Hold on to your Straw Hats — we’ve got three new faces on board for One Piece Season 2. The Netflix mega-hit smashed records in 2023 with its eight-episode first season. Rightfully so, fans are anxiously awaiting Season 2, which reportedly wrapped filming in December 2024.
So, who are the three newbies? Sophia Anne Caruso joins the fray as Miss Goldenweek, Anton David Jeftha will play K.M. and Mark Penwill will portray Chess. Caruso is most known for her role as Lydia Deetz in the original Broadway cast of the Beetlejuice musical, and she starred as Sophie in 2022’s The School for Good and Evil. Jeftha is known for starring as Sebastian Price Junior in the drama series Legacy. Penwill’s credits include appearances in Warrior and Catch Me a Killer.

As reported by Deadline, the aforementioned three join previously announced Season 2 cast members Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Brendan Murray as Brogy, Clive Russell as Crocus, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0 and Lera Abova as Miss All-Sunday.
Returning Cast
The following Season 1 cast members will return for Season 2: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
Based on Eiichirô Oda’s bestselling manga of the same name, the series was developed by Steven Maeda and Matt Owens, who also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Oda is an executive producer. The original anime series premiered in 1999. Several films have also made a splash over the years, the last of which debuted in 2022.
