In honor of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Secret Warriors team they’re putting together, today’s obscure Marvel Character of the day is Eden Fesi, a.k.a. Manifold!

So, to anyone reading current comics, Manifold isn’t all that obscure. He was an invaluable member of The Avengers, using his powers to shuttle the team to any point in space they needed, including going as far as Mars where they met Ex Nihilo and his sister, Abyss, whom they then fought before convincing them to join the team.

But what exactly are his powers?

He can teleport any distance within his own universe by folding reality and opening a portal.

Any. Distance.

In fact, during the war with the Builders during Jonathan Hickman’s Infinity event, he teleported an entire Quinjet a few light years away.

It’s unclear if he’s Mutant, Inhuman or merely a gifted human with special mystic knowledge. All that is certain is that he’s an indigenous Australian who honed his gift by studying with his mentor, Gateway, also another indigenous Australian with similar powers.

How is he important to Secret Warriors? In the comics, he was one of Nick Fury’s first recruits for the team and played an invaluable role. This makes him an ideal candidate to appear on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
