The Force is with us today, Star Wars fans. The Twitter account for the mega-property unveiled official key art for the highly anticipated limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi! But that’s not all — we’ve got a premiere date, too!
Obi-Wan Kenobi brings Ewan McGregor back to a galaxy far, far away, as he reprises his role as the titular character. Besides McGregor, we’ll see the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie round out the main cast.
Deborah Chow helms the six-episode series with Joby Harold, Hannah Friedman and Hossein Amini penning the episodic scripts.

Here’s a synopsis for Obi-Wan Kenobi per Disney:
Ewan McGregor returns in the iconic role of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for a special event series on Disney Plus. Officially titled Obi-Wan Kenobi, the series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where he faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series is directed by Deborah Chow, who helmed memorable episodes of The Mandalorian, Season 1, and features the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader.
Considering how successful The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett are (the latter recently premiered its season finale), it’s no surprise Disney wants to capitalize on the Star Wars legacy and broaden the franchise’s horizons with new properties that deepen and expand the universe’s lore.
