Daredevil: Born Again

A few surprise guests crashed the Marvel Fanfare Panel at NYCC 2024 to share some exciting news … a premiere date for Daredevil: Born Again.

That’s right; the Man Without Fear now has a return that’s set in stone. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who’ve been hard at work on the convention circuit of late, teased what fans can expect for the highly anticipated 18-episode first season. An official trailer also debuted exclusively for panel attendees (here’s hoping the rest of the world can watch it soon).

The Cast and Crew

The original Daredevil series on Netflix ran from 2015 to 2018, spanning three glorious seasons. Thankfully, we can expect the show’s main stars to reprise their roles for Born Again, including Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson.

Recurring star Jon Bernthal will also return as Frank Castle/The Punisher. Wilson Bethel, who portrayed the villain in Season 3, will reprise his role as Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter/Bullseye. Margarita Levieva joins the series regulars in an undisclosed role, as does Genneya Walton as BB Urich. Dario Scardapane serves as the showrunner, and Kevin Feige is the executive producer.

Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell

Additionally, the Marvel Fanfare Panel unveiled a new limited comic book series, which is set to debut next year.

Here’s a synopsis for Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell:

“Years into the future, a powerless Matt Murdock is no longer Daredevil, but he’s still the Man Without Fear! Doing whatever he can to help those in need in a city broken beyond repair, he’ll finally be able take the fight to where it matters most when something catastrophic happens, causing his powers to miraculously return. With no one by his side, Daredevil has little chance against the evil permeating every corner until Captain America entrusts him with a mission to safeguard the world’s only hope…”

I’m so excited about all the Daredevil goodness heading our way next year! Daredevil: Born Again premieres on March 4, 2025, only on Disney+. Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell will release in April of 2025.
