Thanks to DC, we have a small but fun clip from Titans! Yesterday during NYCC 2018 we got a new trailer and the announcement of a second season shortly before the first season has even premiered. While the new trailers look really promising, this clip isn’t that much different. Robin (Brenton Thwaites) get some help from some other superheroes, but they don’t seem to be the type to ask questions first.
Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dove (Minka Kelly) are beating up some thugs in an ally. They seem to be handling themselves but Robin steps in to help out. Once they’ve knocked everyone out, Hawk notes that Robin’s late. But Dove mentions that he always likes to make a dramatic entrance and Robin doesn’t deny it. Hawk questions if Robin’s having a “night out with the bad kids”. Tension? Bravado? Whose to say!

While I do think it’s a bit hilarious that a bunch of bird-themed superheroes are fighting together, the choreography seems alright. This show is not gonna be afraid to show blood – in fact, it almost seems to enjoy showing it off. But this clip brings up a few questions. Why are they in Detroit with Robin? What’s the couples relationship with the famous side-kick? And just what is the Wilhelm scream doing in there?
