The BBC is doing something remarkable. They’re doing a truly global premiere of season 11 of Doctor Who. BBC America has their premiere synced up with the British premiere on Sunday, October 7th. That’s cool. But, they’re taking it even further than that.
Doctor Who will be at New York Comic Con this year… on October 7th. So, fans can watch the premiere of the new season, featuring a very new Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), LIVE with the world. And, those lucky fans at NYCC will have the pleasure of seeing a Doctor Who panel immediately after the premiere. On that panel will be showrunner Chris Chibnal, producer Matt Strevens and the Doctor, herself. It will all go down in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
