Can you believe it? We’re only TWO months away from 2019! While that may not seem like a lot of time, there are a ton of games packed in these next two months for us to explore! From the Apocalypse to Pokémon, we’ve got all the best games this November has to offer. Here’s a look at our Most Anticipated Games for November!

Hitman 2

Agent 47 is back and stealthier than ever!  Hitman 2 is the narrative sequel to Square Enix‘s 2016 Hitman. The story picks up with Agent 47  hunting the elusive “Shadow Client”. You’ll travel the world taking out targets, dressing up in disguises, and disposing of enemies. From what I played at E3 2018, this game is an absolute blast. There are hundreds of outfits to take on and even more ways to take out your target. At one point, I was even dressed as a flamingo mascot and had to entertain the audience to maintain my cover. Moreover, actor Sean Bean, the man known for dying in every project he’s a part of, is a target you can take out in this title as well. Finally, Hitman 2 offers a challenging online multiplayer mode titled “Ghost Mode.” Test your assassins skills as you battle for points against your online opponent. The more discrete you are, the more points you earn, as you kill your way to victory! If you love stealth games and infinite possibilities, then you’ll want to get your hands on Hitman 2. Hitman 2 is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Spyro Reignited Trilogy

The beloved purple dragon is back! Spyro returns to consoles in all of his remastered glory in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. And when I say remastered, I truly mean remastered.  The detail given to each character and environment makes it feel like a brand new game. I was honestly taken aback when I saw the first trailer and stills for this title. The Trilogy contains all of the original Spyro games: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. So prepare to play as your favorite platforming Dragon in all of his classic levels! Additionally, fans have the option of listening to the remastered soundtracks for all three games, OR the classic soundtracks they’re used to. If you’re like me and are a classic Spyro fan, this is a definite must-have. The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is now available on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Fallout 76

Now, you can experience the End of the World with your friends online! In Bethesda‘s Fallout 76, you are one of the residents of Vault 76, located in West Virginia. It’s only been 25 years since the nuclear bombs were dropped on the United States, and it’s YOUR job to get out there and rebuild society! Explore the wasteland of West Virginia, team up to build complex camps, and even grab some Power Armor and take down other players. What makes me excited about this title is that this is an era in the Fallout series we’ve never experienced before. The same settlements and characters that we’re familiar with in the other games don’t exist yet. But what does exist: Uniquely terrifying monsters and creatures that you have to take out on your mission to restore America. Moreover, while Fallout 76 is an online game, you can as easily play on your own OR with your friends. The choice is yours. So strap on your Pip-Boy, grab your Nuka-Cola, and get ready to explore! Fallout 76 is now available on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!

It’s time to travel back to the classic Pokémon days with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! In this title, players have the choice of starting with a Pikachu or (for the first time) Eevee! Travel around the Kanto region and catch all original 151 Pokémon with the NEW Poké Ball Plus! This is a Poké Ball Joy-Con that allows you to actively throw to catch Pokémon in the game. Additionally, you can take your Pokémon with you in the Poké Ball Plus when your Nintendo Switch is off! The game also features cross-platform capabilities, so the Pokémon you catch in Pokémon Go can be transferred to your Switch, and vice-versa. And for extra fun, there are co-play capabilities with both Switch Joycons. Now you and a friend can share the Pokémon adventure together! For any long time Pokémon fan, this game adds nostalgia and new gameplay for all levels of players to enjoy! Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! is available for the Nintendo Switch on November 16th.

Battlefield V

The battle rages on in Battlefield V. Jump back into the clutches of War as you find yourself within the gritty warfare of WWII. Similar to Battlefield I (2016), the game is divided into several episodic stores, with the players focusing on different gameplay modes within each narrative. These episodic stories captured my heart in Battlefield I, and I believe we can expect similar stories that are equally fascinating and heartbreaking in this new title. Battlefield V also introduces a lot more online modes: “Firestorm” (A Battle Royale Mode), “Grand Operations” (an expansion on Operations Mode), “Combined Arms” (A 4 player co-op mode that last appeared in Battlefield 3), and many more! Another feature of the game that EA announced at E3 2018 is Battlefield V‘s character and company customization modes. And yes, now you can finally play as a woman in the Battlefield series! Battlefield V will be available for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 20th.

Overall

This is just a taste of some of the amazing games that are out this November. If you’re like me, you’re finding it hard to play all of these titles as they come out! While it is an exciting time for video game releases, it begs the question what next year will consist of. Will there be as many AAA titles out next year? Is Quarter 4 going to be as packed in 2019? Or, are game studios going to take a step back from this high-release year? Ultimately, we’ll just have to wait and see what 2019 brings!
