This new kit promises to “combine the innovative physical and digital gameplay of Nintendo Labo with basic VR technology” which will help families dive into the wonderful world of VR. This will be the fourth Labo Kit in a series that also includes a Variety Kit, Robot Kit, and a Vehicle Kit.
The VR kit will come in two options: the starter kit which includes the blaster for $39.99 or the full VR kit that includes extra peripherals for $79.99.
“This new kit builds on the core tenets of Nintendo Labo – Make, Play and Discover – to introduce virtual reality in a way that’s fun and approachable for both kids and kids at heart,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in a press release. “We wanted to design an experience that encourages both virtual and real-world interactions among players through passing around Toy-Con creations.”
