So last night’s Agents of SHIELD was exciting. We had a prison break, we finally got to see the Darkhold, Daisy (Chloe Bennett) got some new gauntlets and Jenna Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) appears to be done with those pesky lie detector tests — so she can finally be a better part of the team again!

But then, there’s next week, where we appear to be getting the backstory of how Robbie Reyes became the Ghost Rider. Also, it appears that the rest of the SHIELD team learns his story and it’s difficult for them to swallow — due mostly to that whole “deal with the devil” thing.
From the looks of the trailer it seems that they are going full on origin story with Reyes (Gabriel Luna) from the comics, seeing him left for dead by rival gang members and leaving him to pray he doesn’t die specifically so he can have his vengeance. Apparently, like in the comics, some Vengeful Spirits were listening.
He has two cats and knows all things about Doctor Strange but little else.
