Did you know that the Deadpool movie comes out Valentine’s Day weekend and that, apparently, it is appropriately timed, for according to this new TV trailer, out just last night, “this is actually, lucky you, a love story.”
For proof of this crazy revelation, you can watch the trailer for yourself, embedded below.
Never judge a book by its cover – unless it’s the Kama Sutra (then we can be flexible). #DeadpoolOnTheBachelor https://t.co/vupjvhYXFE

The trailer itself doesn’t really give us any new footage, but, ironically, still gives us more Deadpool footage. It does this by literally just giving us Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds, in a suit, holding a rose and directly addressing us, the audience, by way of his broken fourth wall.
That’s the brilliance of this entire campaign — they don’t need to constantly show new footage to grab our attention. They have it. They just need to reinforce the tone of the movie, give us a sense of the type of movie we’re signing up for and they can do this, over and over and over again, by simply putting Ryan Reynolds in the red Deadpool suit and having him make different jokes directly at the audience.
In Wade Wilson, we have a character so crazy, he knows he’s in a film and can actually just tell us what we need to know about it.
It’s a brilliant move by Fox.
