As you may know, Forkie is a little confused. See, Bonnie (Madeleine McGraw) made her new toy out of a spork. So Forkie has no idea where he belongs…in the kitchen or the toy box. Luckily he has Sheriff Woody (Tom Hanks) to look out for him. In the new trailer, Bonnie’s parents decide to take a road trip and it only takes a split second for Forkie to slip away. Woody chases after him and they end up at an amusement park. That’s where Woody and the gang find Bo Peep (Annie Potts) and meet new friends Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), Bunny (Jordan Peele) and Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key). Together they run around the park, looking for Forkie and trying to stay out of sight.
Duke Caboom seems to be the highlight Toy Story 4. He has a lot of poses to show everyone before really getting into the action. In my opinion, the voices of Reeves, Peele, and Key will draw in a new audience, while retaining the loyal fans of Toy Story franchise. However, most of the Toy Story films follow the same formula, so don’t expect too many twists and turns.
Toy Story 4 also features the returning voices of Tim Allen, Wallace Shawn, Joan Cusack, Bonnie Hunt, Don Rickle, Estelle Harris, Blake Clark and John Ratzenberger. New voices include Christina Hendricks, Patricia Arquette, Kristen Schaal, Laurie Metcalf, and Timothy Dalton. Watch the new trailer below.
Toy Story 4 debuts in theaters on June 21, 2019.
