Just a week after the release of chilling photos for Neflix‘s The Haunting Of Bly Manor, we have our first official trailer. The second season of the highly popular The Haunting of Hill House from creator Mike Flanagan is already giving me nightmares. The series is working as an anthology similar to American Horror Story, featuring roughly the same cast but a different terrifying tale. The second season is loosely based on Henry James‘ horror novella The Turn of the Screw.

The trailer features everything from creepy singing, to moving dolls, to strange children. It wastes no time lulling us into a sense of comfort before turning the tables. It covers quite a bit of content without giving away too much. We do know that The Haunting of Bly Manor is set in 1980s England. The story follows a young woman taking over the role of governess for two young and peculiar children. And the trailer does set them up to be peculiar indeed. But of course every old English manor has its own ghosts to deal with as well.
The best news to come out of the trailer is that we won’t have to wait long to binge this! The Haunting of Bly Manor is set to release on Netflix starting October 9, 2020. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
The Haunting of Bly Manor stars Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelia Eve, T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Pedretti, Kate Siegel and Henry Thomas.
