Welcome to another edition of What’s New on TV. This week, everyone’s favorite midwives are back for Season 14. Get ready because things are about to get good.

More dinosaurs and more conspiracy theories come to Netflix with Season 3 of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Michelle Williams becomes the leading lady of FX’s Dying For Sex. And a French movie about gangs comes to Netflix.

Some exciting series, including one returning for the second half of its 36th season, are premiering this week. Here’s what’s new on TV for March 30 – April 5.

NEW ON TV, MARCH 30 – APRIL 5

March 30 – Call the Midwife

Call the Midwife is back on PBS for its 14th season. The new season brings a new decade to Poplar as the show takes place in 1970. Things get complicated when the Isle of Dogs activists fight for independence. The midwives must do everything in their power to keep the Nonnatus House running as smoothly as possible.

Call the Midwife Season 14 premieres Sunday, March 30 at 8/7c on PBS.

March 30 – The Simpsons

The 36th season of The Simpsons is back this week for its second half. The show picks back up with Episode 12 as Bart tries to become a celebrity DJ. Meanwhile, Homer continues to push all of Flanders’s buttons, going a bit too far this time.

The Simpsons Season 36 returns Sunday, March 30 at 8/7c on FOX.

March 31 – Promised Hearts

The Promised Hearts film tells the story of Niyala after achieving her dream of becoming a doctor. Her future suddenly changes when she finds herself in the middle of a secretly arranged marriage to a wealthy family. Can she balance what she wants and what they’re telling her to do?

Promised Hearts premieres Monday, March 31 at 3/2 am on Netflix.

April 2 – Banger

To continue on its path of showcasing international movies, Netflix premieres Banger. The French-speaking film tells the story of a former DJ recruited by the cops to bust a criminal gang. He takes this opportunity because it’s connected to his more popular rival, a DJ in a Russian gang. The cast includes Vincent Cassel, Laura Felpin and Mister V.

Banger premieres Wednesday, April 2 at 3/2 am on Netflix.

April 3 – The Bondsman

Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins and Jolene Purdy take over Prime Video this week as the cast of The Bondsman. The series tells the story of Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter brought back from the dead by the devil to trap demons and send them to hell. While chasing demons, Halloran reconnects with his family and pushes for a second chance at life.

The Bondsman premieres Thursday, April 3 at 3/2 am on Prime Video.

April 3 – Jurassic World: Chaos Theory

The Nublar Six are back on Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 3. However, the season finds them as The Nublar Five since Brooklynn rejected the group. While they face more dinosaurs and danger, Brooklynn gets deeper into the Broker’s criminal web of dinosaur trafficking. Can they ever become The Nublar Six again?

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory premieres Thursday, April 3 at 3/2 am on Netflix.

April 3 – Pulse

A new set of doctors is joining the long list of fictional doctors who have captivated audiences around the world for many decades. Netflix’s Pulse dives into the lives of ER residents working at a busy Miami trauma center. The series follows this group through the chaos of medical crises and personal dramas while terrible allegations float around the hospital.

Pulse premieres Thursday, April 3 at 3/2 am on Netflix.

April 4 – Dying for Sex

Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Rob Delaney, Jay Duplass, Kelvin Yu, Ravid Rasche, Esco Jouléy and Sissy Spacek are the cast of FX’s Dying for Sex. The limited series tells the story of Molly after she is diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She decides to divorce her husband and dive into exploring her sexual desires for the first time in her life. Molly is accompanied by her best friend Nikki who stays with her until the very end.

Dying for Sex premieres Friday, April 4 at Midnight/11c on FX on Hulu.

April 5 – Hearts Around the Table: Josh’s Third Serving

A new Hallmark movie tells the story of Josh and Ella, two teachers who work together when the after-school programs receive a funding cut. They dive into fundraising to get a large donation to keep the programs afloat. Meanwhile, they start to fall in love. Jake Epstein, Stephanie Bennett and Mindy Cohn star in Hearts Around the Table: Josh’s Third Serving

Hearts Around the Table: Josh’s Third Serving premieres Saturday, April 5 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel.
