It has been an absolute bonanza on spoiler-y rumors for Thor: Ragnarok the last couple weeks and most of them have come out of geek.com!

There was the rumor about Cate Blanchett’s role being Hela and her teaming up with Loki to banish Thor from Asgard. There was the rumor that Hela actually destroys Mjolnir. There was also the rumor that Odin’s whereabouts in the film are that he has been banished to Midgard where he is a crazy old man doomsayer on a street corner, warning that the end is nigh.

So, there’s been a lot, but today’s is the doozies of doozies and it involves the Hulk and his role in the film.

According to geek.com, Thor uncovers a sinister plot being set forth by Loki and Hela, described as, “the major arc of the Marvel Universe.” To keep Thor out of the picture, Hela banishes Thor from Asgard and to a “gladiatorial planet where his head is shaved and he’s forced to fight for his life.” And, if you remember, they suggest that Mjolnir was destroyed, so he’s got to do all the fighting without his enchanted Uru hammer.

The site then goes on to say that Thor seeks out a “MacGuffin weapon” to defeat Hela and Loki as he “runs through all of his alien opponents in gladiatorial combat” until, finally, he has to “face the current champion of the arena” — The Hulk.

Hulk has managed to start combining this two sides so that “‘Banner’ is starting to seep through into the Hulk persona” and, because of this, “Hulk actually remembers Thor and his relationship to him.” It’s from here that the two formulate a plot to run through the cosmos on a cosmic road trip and retrieve whatever weapon it is that Thor needs to defeat Loki and Hela. That weapon, as suggested by the site, could be the Infinity Gauntlet.

Since this is not the final shooting script, it’s possible that some of these details could change, but the site suggests that the outline is there and the final script will most likely involve most of these plot points.
