Fox has released a new poster for their upcoming addition to their Marvel Mutant franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse. The poster features Apocalypse’s “Four Horsemen,” the four powerful mutants he has chosen to help him eradicate the weak and force the hand of evolution so that only the strongest survive.

Featured most prominently is Michael Fassbender as Magneto, the master of magnetism, sans metal helmet. His outfit is the closest we’ve seen to the comics and is, no doubt, created by Apocalypse since he seems to be able to do that.

To his right, we have Psylocke, played by Olivia Munn. She has her psychic knife at the ready. To Fassbender’s left is Storm, played by Alexandra Shipp, who dons the white mohawk we’ve all been excited for since we first saw her in the trailers. She also has lightning crackling out of her eyes — it’s her most commonly used offensive weapon. Behind them all is Archangel, played by Ben Hardy, who has his metallic wings spread wide. It appears here that the feathers are very much knife-like, which should get everybody excited.

Then, looming over all of them is the titular villain, Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaacs. The wonderfully ironic thing about this picture is that it legitimately could be that Apocalypse is that big and not just clever graphic design.
