Wait.
Everyone, just… just wait.
Are we seriously, honestly, maybe on our way to getting an Ororo Munroe/Storm with a bad ass mohawk?

Over the weekend, X-Men mastermind Bryan Singer went to the Montreal Grand Prix with some of his X-Men cast and cohorts and, of course, took pictures of the super-dooper-fun-times. Whether it was considered or not, we got our first look at Alexandra Shipp’s haircut for the film — or lack of hair, as the case is here.

The last time we saw Storm in a film, she was played by Halle Berry who sported the more common look — a head full of long white hair. However, since finding out that X-Men: Apocalypse was taking place in the 80’s, fans have been begging for the Storm of the 80’s, who sported a punk-inspired, long white mohawk.

It should be noted that Alexandra Shipp is currently bald, so it’s possible that her version of Storm is also bald. However, perhaps they are using a white mohawk wig for the film.

Let us bow our heads to the Vishanti that a white wig is the way they are going.
