The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), popularly called Marvel, is a well-known name in the comic industry, and they have a series of exciting sequels scheduled to be released in theaters soon, starting in late 2023. Their superheroes and characters have become cultural icons of good and evil, adopted into mainstream media and popular culture worldwide.

The exciting lineup of movies includes the sequel to “The Marvels,” “Captain America: Brave New World,” a story of fearlessness and patriotism; the unrepentant mercenary “Deadpool,” the fiercely dark and gripping “Blade,” and the grand return of the iconic superhero family in “Fantastic Four.” In no particular order, this article highlights the five most anticipated Marvel live-action sequels of the decade coming to the cinema in 2023.

“Captain America: Brave New World”

In the movie “Captain America,” Steve Rogers, a scrawny but determined young man, participates in a groundbreaking experiment that turns him into Captain America, a super-soldier. Now equipped with improved strength and agility, he commands a group of allied forces during World War II as they fight the evil Red Skull and his antagonist organization, HYDRA, to keep them from obtaining a deadly cosmic power.

The movie was so popular and influential that it inspired creators to invent themed slot games that infuse symbols and actions adapted from the film. Games like Avengers, Superman: Last Son of Krypton, and Justice League are popular selections. The sites you find on these fast-paying casinos in Australia offer some of these marvel-themed slots that allow you to reminisce and recreate that nostalgic feeling from the action-packed movie. Also, you won’t have to wait for long just to make deposits or withdraw your winnings from these sites. They offer very fast payouts to give you that Superman feeling each time you play.

In the upcoming sequel, which will be in cinemas from August 26, 2024, the new star-decorated Avenger, the iconic shield, gets passed down to a worthy successor in “Captain America: Brave New World.” This emotional and action-packed journey is set to redefine what it means to be a hero in a world filled with challenges and complexities.

 “Blade”

In the thrilling live-action movie “Blade,” Oscar award winner Mahershala Ali takes on the iconic role of Eric Brooks, a half-vampire, half-human vigilante known as Blade. He fights relentlessly against vampires and other supernatural threats to humanity because he strongly desires to purge the world of the dead.

Blade is forced to face his identity and accept his destiny as a  vampire hunter. He travels deeper into the underworld, learning of an evil plot carried out by a strong vampire overlord against humans. The new “Blade” is set to explore the supernatural corners of Marvel and introduce a new wave of horror-infused storytelling.

The “Blade,” featuring Wesley Snipes, was directed by Stephen Norrington and had been in development for over four years. The Marvel comic was successful and spawned two sequels between 1998 and 2004.  The new “Blade” will be in cinemas from February 14, 2025.

“The Marvels”

In “The Marvels,” three formidable Marvel superheroes, Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), join forces to save the world. These formidable women unite to fight an evil threat that endangers both Earth and the entire cosmos as the cosmic and earthly realms collide. They must harness their unique abilities and unbreakable determination to save the day, proving that a hero’s strength lies in their powers and the bonds they form.

It seems that the sequel to “The Marvels” will break new ground and add a fresh twist to the franchise when it premieres on November 10, 2023. “The Marvels” is the return of Brie Larson to Captain Marvel’s role, and Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris take on Ms. Marvel and Photon, respectively.

 “Deadpool”

In the upcoming Marvel live-action movie “Deadpool,” Ryan Reynolds takes back his role as the unrepentant and funny mercenary Wade Wilson. A powerful mutant mercenary named Cable (Josh Brolin) arrives from the future with deadly intentions.

As a result, Deadpool must assemble an unlikely group of misfits, including Domino (Zazie Beetz) and Weasel (T.J. Miller), to stop him and protect a young mutant boy with extraordinary abilities (Julian Dennison). The action-packed comedy “Deadpool” delivers a hilarious adventure that will have viewers glued to their screens while clutching their sides with uncontrollable laughter. It is jam-packed with nonstop jaw-dropping action, humor, and actors carrying the audience along.  “Deadpool 3” will be in cinemas from May 3, 2024.

“Fantastic Four”

The “Fantastic Four” is Marvel’s first family of superheroes, returning to cinemas soon. Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Susan Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) embark on a groundbreaking scientific mission that goes amiss, resulting in their transformation into superpowered beings.

The team must unite and use their combined strengths to take on the formidable antagonist Victor Von Doom, who transforms into the evil and potent Doctor Doom, as they struggle with their newly acquired powers. “Fantastic Four” is poised to rekindle the spirit of exploration and imagination that has defined Marvel’s first superhero team thanks to its all-star cast and promise of exploring the wonders of the Multiverse. The new sequel will be out in cinemas on May 2, 2025.
