San Diego Comic Con, the granddaddy of all conventions, is just a short few days away from starting and we are all excited to see what this weekend brings us.
But the goodies have already started as Marvel released this new poster for their Netflix series, Luke Cage, through an exclusive with TV Insider.
The poster was drawn by the legendary Joe Quesada, who spoke to the site about the process, saying, “There’s always great pressure with superhero posters. You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic.” He then went on to add to this, speaking about actor Mike Colter who stars as Luke Cage, saying, “Mike gives Luke a smoldering strength. He’s sexy and calming. And the ladies love it.”
Netflix and Marvel are teaming up for their first time to do an SDCC panel exclusively for Luke Cage on Thursday night, 5:45 – 6:45. They will also be doing a Luke Cage signing earlier in the day at the Marvel booth at 3:15.
