So the marketing team behind Fox’s upcoming Marvel film, Logan, which will see Hugh Jackman popping his claws as Wolverine one last time, is up to something either very cool or very frustrating — we’re not sure which.

We’re going to side with pretty effing cool. Let us explain.

They are releasing the trailer to fans one frame at a time. The trailer consists of 1,974 frames, which means 1,974 individual stills will be sent out to the many fans who sign up. If you want to be one of those lucky fans, just go to —

— and sign up. It’s all free to do so. They have touted these as unique, one of a kind collectibles as they are only sending out one postcard of each frame. If you get one, you’re the only one in the world with that frame.

However, there is a cost to this. You have a very big responsibility if you’re one of the lucky chosen fans. You have to post a picture of it to either Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #OneLastTime.

Once all 1,974 frames have been claimed, the trailer will be released.

Coincidentally, Wolverine’s 1st appearance was in The Incredible Hulk #181, which was released in — 1974.

Brilliant work Fox. Kudos, applause and standing ovations.

We got this story from comicbook.com and, at the time of publishing, there still seemed to be some pictures remaining.
