Mystery thriller Limetown made a huge splash on the iTunes podcast charts back in 2015. Which wasn’t a huge shock. Fans quickly consumed the chilling, conspiracy laden tale brought to us by show creators Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie.
The story is told through a series of investigative reports by Lia Haddock, a journalist for American Public Radio (APR), detailing the disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility in Tennessee ten years earlier. After a season finale that ended in a cliffhanger, Limetown went on a three year hiatus, then made a strong comeback with its long waited second season. This was followed by a prequel book (which is a must read by the way!) then the announcement of a TV adaption! Well, it’s airing on Facebook, but you know what I mean.

The new trailer throws viewers right in the middle of the mystery with a stellar cast. We see the devastation that followed the Limetown disappearances, Lia’s (Jessica Biel) personal connection to the case and her determination for answers. “My name is Lia Haddock and I will never stop.”
Starring along side Biel we see Stanley Tucci as Emile Haddock, Lia’s uncle who was among the missing residents. Omar Elba will play Lia’s producer Mark Green, Janet Kidder as Lenore, the missing Limetown mayor, and John Beasley will play Warren, a vet who has a special interest in pigs.
