Oh hell yes!

We’ve got our first teaser trailer for the upcoming Jessica Jones, the next Marvel based project put out by Netflix.

It’s only about .30 seconds long, all told, and all we see is a slow camera move in a bedroom — we don’t even see Jessica Jones’ face, played by actress Krysten Ritter — but what we do see is enough.

It’s a really smart teaser in that way. It captures the tone of the series and the tone of the character all in one single shot of Jessica Jones, in her messy room, destroying her alarm clock at 3:00 in the afternoon, with a bottle of nondescript hooch behind the clock.

There’s no word on when we can expect a trailer to be released, but it’s a safe bet that it’s not too far away with Jessica Jones hitting our TV’s in November!

Jessica Jones is based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. In the Netflix series, ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
