I loved the first Interstellar trailer from Christopher Nolan. I really did. It was dystopia, angst, family, love and end-of-the-world-is-a-comin’ all wrapped up together. I know, I’m a fun gal.

This new Interstellar trailer has left me yearning for time to speed up to the release date even more. There’s a beautiful prose woven into this morality, entropic tale. When I posted the first trailer, I commented on the beautiful quote, “We must confront the reality that nothing in our solar system can help us.” Yes, I think that’s a beautiful quote, a depressingly beautiful quote. In one sentence, it describes everything that humanity needs to know.

Here are the quotes I fell in love with in this latest trailer:

Matthew McConaughey’s character on humanity: “We used to look up in the sky and wonder at our place in the stars and now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt.”

Michael Caine quoting Dylan Thomas’ suggestion to humanity: “Do not go gentle into that good night. Old age should burn and rave at close of day. Rage rage against the dying of the light.”

And a truth on humanity: “We’ll find a way. We always have.”

Fun Times!!!!!!
