NBC has released the third teaser for Heroes Reborn – the upcoming series which is continuation of the original serie, Heroes. The trailer, with a wonderful musical score,  starts ominously with the character Malina looking at color-filled sky – like the Aurora Borealis gone psycho. She then says, “It’s happening faster than we thought. I don’t think I can control it much longer.”

After this, the trailer becomes the much loved science-fiction trope of regular humans vs. evolved humans/mutants/inhumans/meta-humans/whatever-you-want-to-call-them. The hunters and the hunted. We see who the bad guys are and who the good guys are. The teaser is a lot of fun. I didn’t think I’d want to visit this show again but I have to say, I’m in. Making it even more exciting was when Hiro appeared on the screen with Bennet and said, “It’s good to be back.”

The saga behind the 2006 breakout series “Heroes” will continue this fall as creator Tim Kring returns to the fold and develops new layers to his original superhero concept. This highly anticipated 13-episode event series will reconnect with the basic elements of the show’s first season, where ordinary people were waking up to the fact that they had extraordinary abilities.

The two-hour series premiere for Heroes Reborn is on September 24 on NBC.
