New CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA Stills Highlight Key Characters

Netflix unveiled some new images from the upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and they’re wickedly good! The stills show off the main characters set to bring the world of Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) to life (or maybe undead?). Not only do we see her personal life but we get a glimpse at her life at school. But mostly we’re getting a lot of Halloween vibes off of these photos and we’re loving it.

One of the biggest reveals is Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) as Mary Wardell / Madam Satan, Sabrina’s favorite teacher who becomes possessed by the devil’s handmaiden. The “cunning manipulator” will be seen as Sabrina’s mentor – but for how long? We also get another look at Sabrina’s witchy Aunts, Zelda (Miranda Otto) and Hilda (Lucy Davis), showing off their personalities perfectly in their stills. Additionally we see some of her classmates and some of her enemies, including The Weird Sisters, students of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, who have a personal grudge against Sabrina.

All of the images are a great indication as to what the show will be like. We’re in for some haunting imagery. But, she’s still a teenager – something that won’t be lost on viewers, despite the gore and nightmarish scenes. Fans were able to get a closer glimpse the other day with the release of the first teaser trailer. The spooky trailer revealed that Sabrina will be put through the ringer and all these characters will either help or hinder her along the way. Who will betray her? Who will help her out? We’ll all know soon!
