For those who are still mourning the ending of Netflix’s highly popular Castlevania series, Geeked Week dropped some exciting news today! The story may be over for Trevor (Richard Armitage), Sypha (Alejandra Reynoso) and Alucard (James Callis), but there is still more to come! Sam Deats, Adam Deats and Kevin Kolde jumped in to confirm we will see another series! But that isn’t all, they gave us a brief overview of what it will be about!

The next Castlevania series will star Richter Belmont, the great (x a ton) grandson of Sypha and Trevor, and Maria Renard, a young vampire huntress with ties to the Belmont family. We will see their story take place in France during the French Revolution. It will be interesting to see how the events of the Castlevania franchise will tie in with the historical events of the French Revolution. Will we get to see an animated Marquis de Lafayette? Also, Maria does cross paths with Alucard within the franchise, so will we see him return?
