New Poster from Marvel's Upcoming Film Captain Marvel Starring Brie Larson

It’s still over a month until we are all graced with the presence of Captain Marvel. Although the wait is getting more and more unbearable, we’ve been lucky enough to get bits and pieces in promotional material. However, last night star Brie Larson gifted awaiting fans with our first clip from the film. It is action packed!

Posted on her Twitter account, Larson uploaded a 45 second clip of the highly anticipated movie. In it, we see Carol Danvers is on top of a train chasing a seemingly average man. But from the kick he unleashes on her in the first second of the clip, we know he’s much more than he seems. A Skrull. Carol gives chase while Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) are pursuing the train in a car, driving aggressively through traffic to keep up. Fury thinks they can cut them off at the station the train is heading to. Meanwhile, Carol can’t seem to pin the Skrull down, so the fights moves into the train car.

This clip is a lot of fun! We can see that Carol Danvers is actively pursuing Skrull on Earth. It’s unclear at this point in the film whether she is teamed up with Fury yet but it doesn’t really seem so. Especially since he said “let’s meet them at the station”, emphasis on ‘them’. This might actually be the point where Fury, Coulson, and Danvers meet. I’m pretty excited to see them all work together to defeat the Skrull (and maybe even the other Kree) on Earth.

Check out the clip below and let us know what you think. Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more women kicking butt.
