There are a lot of new books coming out every week. With New Release Radar, I’ll help you narrow down the week’s new book releases into the titles you should get excited about. The Hedgewitch of Foxhall by Anna Bright

The Hedgewitch of Foxhall is a standalone historical fantasy full of Welsh folklore. Anna Bright’s fourth YA novel is a great read for anyone looking for a unique fairy tale.

Blessed Water by Margot Douaihy
Tattooed and sharp-tongued nun Sister Holiday is determined to take her upcoming vows for the Sisters of the Sublime Blood while working at the Redemption Detective Agency. Their latest case? A priest’s body that turns up in the Mississippi River during a torrential rainstorm. As the floodwaters rise, Sister Holiday dives headfirst into the investigation, driven by her quest for answers and a desire to keep her community safe.
Sister Holiday is back in Margot Douaihy’s sequel to 2023’s Scorched Grace. Blessed Water is another fast-paced, twisty mystery perfect for cozy readers.
Monster Crush by Erin Ellie Franey
Ever since her parents split up, Ruby Reid has struggled at Crestwood High. But everything changes when Ella Mooney arrives in town. Ella isn’t like other girls. She’s never had ice cream or been on a Ferris Wheel, and sometimes, she transforms into a creature with fangs and a tail. Ruby isn’t the only one interested in Ella, however, and soon, the two find themselves on the run from a mysterious group intent on capturing Ella and her family.

Erin Ellie Franey’s new book release is a fun, whirlwind adventure. Balancing paranormal hijinks and explorations of first love, Monster Crush is an absolute blast.
Sungbringer by Hannah Kaner

As tensions escalate, Inara and her god companion Skedi seek information on the true nature of their bond, uncovering secrets that may determine the war’s outcome. I’m so excited that the sequel to Godkiller is finally here. Hannah Kaner left readers on a huge cliffhanger, and I hope Sunbringer picks right up where things left off.
The Siege of Burning Grass by Premee Mohamed
The war between the Empires of Varkal and Med’ariz is eternal. Things take a turn when Alefret, a pacifist resistance leader from Varkal, is offered a chance at freedom by his own government. Tasked with infiltrating one of Med’ariz’s flying cities, Alefret must find fellow anti-war activists and incite an uprising against their rulers. The Siege of Burning Grass is Premee Mohamed’s first standalone novel after plenty of bestselling novellas. Her new book release is an intense meditation on war, violence and what courage truly means.
A Feather So Black by Lyra Selene

The Phoenix Bride by Natasha Siegel
