My Roommate Is a Vampire by Jenna Levine
On the edge of eviction, struggling artist Cassie Greenberg stumbles onto a seemingly perfect apartment in Chicago. It’s enough to overlook her new roommate’s strange behavior – almost. Frederick J. Fitzwilliam sleeps during the day and talks like he’s from another time, but he also leaves her affectionate notes and genuinely cares about her art. But when Cassie discovers bags of blood in the fridge, she realizes he may be a vampire, leading to a proposition that will change their lives.
True love is at stake in My Roommate is a Vampire. Jenna Levine’s debut combines What We Do in the Shadows with classic rom-com tropes, and it’s a super fun read to end the summer with.
