Poster for The CW's Batwoman.

The Batwoman premiere is just a couple of months away. The CW show is gearing up for the big weekend in San Diego with a new poster that asks fans, “Are You Ready?” The poster was released via the CW Batwoman Twitter account.  Check out the poster below.

Ruby Rose plays Kate Kane, aka. Batwoman. That’s Kate’s silhouette with the Batwoman signal behind her. Kate debuted in the Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds and she is Bruce Wayne’s cousin. Wayne has left Gotham and Batman went with him, leaving the city vulnerable to crime.  It’s only fitting that she take up the mantle of the new Bats.

The trailer premiered back in May and gave fans a better glimpse at what’s to come in the first season. Of course, there will be lots of action, mystery, intrigue, and romance.  Kate’s father Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) is the commander of Crows Private Security, the new protectors of the city. He is not a fan of vigilantes. Things get interesting when the villainous Alice comes to Gotham.  She kidnaps Kate’s ex-girlfriend Sophie Moore (Meagan Tandy).  In order to save Sophie, Kate must become the one thing her father hates…a vigilante.

Batwoman also stars Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton, and Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox. Marcos Siega directed the pilot. David Nutter, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, and Caroline Dries executive produce.  The pilot will debut at the 2019 San Diego Comic Con.

Batwoman premieres on Sunday, October 6, on the CW.
