There’s a new Ant-Man trailer out and it teases his bigger connection to the MCU — the continuity that the franchise has established to exist between their characters. We know Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang is cast in Captain America: Civil War, but it’s still unclear how exactly he gets pulled in to it. And what about Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly)? Will they figure into the greater scheme of things?

All we know right now is that this trailer promises that the Marvel Universe “is about to get bigger.” Meaning, we’ve just got to sit back and trust them, they’ve got a plan… Marvel always has a plan.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man will be in theaters on July 17.
