Just a few days prior to the release of season three of Netflix’s You, they announced that we will be getting a fourth season. This thriller series is based on the book series of the same name by Caroline Kepnes. Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will be serving as executive producers and Gamble is serving as the showrunner. The series stars Penn Badgley as Joe and Victoria Pedretti as Love.

The announcement trailer pays homage to everything Joe will do for Love. Everything always has and will also be “for you.” As it flashes through the terrifying things that Joe has done over the past two seasons, we start to piece together the underlying message coming through. As the video comes to a close, the phrase “4 You” is flipped to say “You 4.” Since we haven’t seen what happens in season three just yet, we can only imagine where the fourth season will take us.

Season three of You picks up after Joe and Love have gotten married and have a child together. They have moved to Northern California and are raising their baby. However, they are surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgemental mommy bloggers and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is trying to stay committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but it’s complicated with Love’s deadly impulsiveness.

You season three will drop on Netflix starting Friday, October 15, 2021. You can catch up on seasons one and two right here! We’ve shared the announcement trailer below! They have not shared when we will be getting season four, so keep an eye out for future news. Are you excited to see another season? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
