It’s an excellent day for streaming fans. Netflix blessed us with a three-minute sizzle reel of its 2024 film and TV slate. Based on this trailer, the entertainment juggernaut has quite the packed schedule in store for audiences. Highly anticipated TV titles in the reel include The Umbrella Academy for its fourth and final season, Bridgerton Season 3, Cobra Kai for its sixth and final season and Squid Game Season 2.

Some of the buzzy movie titles included are Eddie Murphy‘s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Carry On with Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, Zack Snyder‘s Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver and, my personal pick, Back in Action. The latter serves as Cameron Diaz‘s first role since coming out of acting retirement. In Back in Action, she stars opposite Jamie Foxx. Comedy is back, baby.
Missing in Action
Viewers will surely notice a few massive titles are MIA from the Netflix sizzle reel. Of course, we know Stranger Things won’t air its fifth and final season until 2025. However, Wednesday Season 2 is also not in the trailer. The series is scheduled to start production in Ireland in April. Given the amount of VFX in Season 1, we probably won’t see Season 2 until 2025.
Another series omitted from the reel is Ginny & Georgia, which Netflix renewed for Season 3 and Season 4. We’ll most likely see the show return in 2025, along with the aforementioned titles.
