Last year we were introduced to Kevin Smith and Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation. It was the epic return to Eternia and the next installment to the beloved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise. And during today’s GEEKED WEEK 2022 animation showcase, we learned that we are going back again. Smith will be partnering with Mattell, Powerhouse Animation and Netflix to bring us Masters of the Universe: Revolution.

Smith’s first jump into Eternia followed Teela (voiced by Sarah Jessica Parker in Revelation) and her journey to understand her past and carve out her future. And a lot happened. We won’t spoil Masters of the Universe: Revelation here in case you haven’t seen it. The series does open up many possible storylines that could be explored within the new series. From what Netflix has shared, this series will see Prince Adam/He-Man (voiced by Chris Wood in Revelation) and Skeletor (voiced by Mark Hamill in Revelation) go head to head.

Prince Adam/He-Man goes on quite the journey himself during the events of Revelation, and we were curious if we would see more on how he dealt with his choices. And while we love to see him go head to head against Skeletor, we hope to see more villains in Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The only other thing shared, along with the fact that we were getting a new series, was a poster. It clearly shows Skeletor behind the Sword of Power and Prince Adam’s crown. Hopefully, now that we know the series is on its way, we will start to see more announcements.

Our greatest wish is that the voice acting cast from Revelation comes back for Masters of the Universe: Revolution. They did such a fantastic job bringing these characters to life, and we can’t wait to see more. Check out the cool poster art below! What do you think about returning to Eternia?
