Jinx shooting in the Arcane trailer.

During hour two of Netflix’s fan expo event Tudum, we got another look at the upcoming animated series Arcane. Based on lore from the extremely popular MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) League of Legends from Riot Games. We recently got character posters showing off Jinx (Ella Purnell) and the other characters we will get to see within the series. During today’s event, we got our very first full-length trailer giving us a look at Arcane.

Arcane dives into the backstory for two of the game’s most iconic characters – Jinx and Vi (Hailee Steinfeld). The trailer introduces us to how close they were in the past and how a power tore them apart. The trailer does an amazing job of introducing us to the story but also making us fall in love with the art style. Similar to the look and feel of the game, but still has its own identity. I hope this does extremely well and we get the chance to explore more of the franchise through animated series.

The trailer also gives us a chance to experience the voice work from Purnell and Steinfeld. Kevin Alejandro joins them as Jayce, Katie Leung as Caitlyn, Jason Spisak as Silco, Toks Olagundoye as Mel, JB Blanc as Vander and Harry Lloyd as Viktor. Such a fantastic cast for an equally fantastic series.

Arcane is set to hit our screens on November 6, 2021. We’ve linked the trailer below for you to enjoy. Are you excited to learn more about these two sisters? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
