Fans of the highly popular MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) from Riot Games‘ League of Legends, it is time to get excited! A brand new animated series is coming to Netflix and we got a first look at it during the final day of Geeked Week! Arcane is set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun. It will follow the origins of two iconic champions and the power that will tear them apart.

Are you ready to learn more about Jinx and Vi? We are! And Arcane looks amazing! Even if you don’t play League of Legends this is going to be a must-watch series! And this is just the beginning. Co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee teased that this is only the beginning. Riot Games is planning on creating more animated series delving into the lore of League of Legends!
The Arcane clip shows off a bit of the sibling rivalry between Jinx and Vi. That’s right, Riot Games has finally announced that the two are sisters! Jinx puts an arcade-style boxing machine back together and goes to town trying to break her sister’s high score. Seriously, this looks amazing. From the beautiful art style (thanks to Fortiche Productions) to the intense rivalry between the two – we can’t wait!
